The following message from Provost Peggy Agouris was sent to the campus community July 1, 2022 – Ed.
Dear William & Mary faculty, staff and students,
I am happy to announce that Dr. Todd A. Mooradian will return to William & Mary on August 15 to serve as the dean of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
Todd is a familiar face here from his nearly three decades as a professor and administrator at William & Mary before he became dean at the University of Louisville College of Business in 2017. Substantiated by his record of achievement as a marketing strategy and consumer behavior expert, Todd is highly regarded by students and colleagues for his scholarship, teaching and administrative acumen. I look forward to Todd’s tenure in this important post and am pleased to welcome him back home to William & Mary.
Over the course of his career, Todd Mooradian has proven himself a steadfast advocate for student and school interests.
As dean at Louisville, Todd led the development and launch of three new programs: a Master of Science in Business Analytics, an online MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Todd also led the business school as it developed a portfolio of stackable, non-degree credentials, including certifications focused on regional economic clusters unique to the character of Louisville. Todd was awarded the Rothwell Advancement Award in 2020 for his support of university-wide advancement efforts connecting Louisville to its stakeholders and alumni.
As associate dean at the Mason School, Todd was closely involved in the creation and launch of the Online MBA and the residential Master of Science in Business Analytics, both essential to the innovative and entrepreneurial core of the W&M Business School.
More information about Todd’s background and accomplishments can be found in our press release. I extend my gratitude to the 16-member search committee chaired by Kimberly Smith, the senior associate dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs at the Business School.
I also again recognize Larry Pulley, who has been essential to more than two decades of significant growth and innovation at the Mason School. As incoming dean, Todd Mooradian will continue and further elevate this legacy of excellence. We look forward to working together to advance university and school strategic priorities.
Todd will be returning to Williamsburg with his wife Paula, who also has deep ties to William & Mary through her work with W&M Athletics and the Alumni Association.
Please join me in congratulating Todd and welcoming him and his family back to the Williamsburg area.
Sincerely,
Peggy
