The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet on the William & Mary campus in Williamsburg, Virginia, September 23–25. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the regular business of the Board.
On Wednesday, September 23, the Subcommittee on Compensation will meet at 3:30 p.m. in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall, located at 262 Richmond Rd., and is scheduled to conclude at 4:30 p.m. The Executive Committee will meet at 4:45 p.m. in the same location and is scheduled to conclude at 6 p.m. At approximately 6:30 p.m., the Board will attend a dinner hosted by the Rector at 104 Ridings Cove, Williamsburg, VA 23185, or, in the event of inclement weather, in the Kelly Boardroom of the Alumni House, located at 500 Richmond Rd.
On Thursday, September 24, the Board will meet at 8 a.m. in the Blue Room of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, located at 111 Jamestown Rd., to welcome new Board members and to take the annual member photograph. At 9:15 a.m., the Committee on Academic Affairs will meet in the Grimsley Board Room of Blow Memorial Hall, and the Committee on Athletics will meet in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall, both concluding at approximately 10:45 a.m. At 11 a.m., the Committee on Administration, Buildings, and Grounds will meet in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall, and the Committee on Student Success will meet in the Grimsley Board Room, both concluding at approximately 12:15 p.m. At 12:30 p.m., the Board will attend lunch with the President’s Cabinet in Hunter Hall of the Alumni House, located at 500 Richmond Rd. The Committee on Financial Affairs will meet at 1:45 p.m. in the Grimsley Board Room, followed by the Committee on Institutional Advancement at 3:15 p.m. in the same location, concluding at approximately 4:45 p.m. At 5 p.m., the Board will attend the “DoG Street to Wall Street Keynote Address” in the Glenn Close Theatre of Phi Beta Kappa Hall, located at 601 Jamestown Rd. At approximately 6:30 p.m., the Board will attend a reception for retired Board members in the Portico of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, to be followed immediately by dinner in the Great Hall of the Wren Building.
On Friday, September 25, the Committee on Audit, Risk, and Compliance will meet at 8 a.m. in Room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall and is scheduled to conclude at 9:30 a.m. A meeting of the full Board will begin at 9:45 a.m. in the Grimsley Board Room of Blow Memorial Hall and is scheduled to conclude at 11:30 a.m.
The Board and its committees may convene in closed session as permitted under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.
