William & Mary Public Safety sent the following message to the campus community on July 26, 2026. – Ed.
The City of Williamsburg has reported that two foxes displaying unusual behavior have been seen near S. Henry St.
• Report sightings of the foxes to the City of Williamsburg non-emergency number at 757-890-3621 or William & Mary Police at 757-221-4596.
• Do not approach the foxes.
Williamsburg Police are working with animal control resources to locate and evaluate the foxes.
