The William & Mary Board of Visitors will hold its annual summer retreat July 28-30, 2026, in Wintergreen, Va. The purpose of the meeting is to serve as the annual planning and training retreat for members of the Board.
On Tuesday, July 28, meetings will begin at 3 p.m. in the Upper Crust Conference Room of the Wintergreen Resort, located at 39 Mountain Inn Loop, Wintergreen Resort, VA, to orient new Board members to William & Mary. At approximately 6:15 p.m., new Board members, the officers of the Board and William & Mary leadership will attend a dinner in The Windsong Room of the Edge Restaurant. At 8 p.m., the Board members will attend an optional Fireside Gathering in Shamokin Terrace of the Wintergreen Resort.
On Wednesday, July 29, the full Board will meet beginning at 8:45 a.m. in the Upper Crust Conference Room of the Wintergreen Resort. Over the course of the day, the Board will meet with William & Mary leadership on several topics related to the university, ending around 4:45 p.m. At approximately 6 p.m., the Board will attend a reception and dinner at the Lookout Lodge, to be immediately followed by a 7:30 p.m. optional evening social in the Windsong Room of the Edge.
On Thursday, July 30, Board meetings will resume at 8:30 a.m. in the Upper Crust Conference Room and conclude for the day at approximately 12:15 p.m.
